The other World Cup fever

When Luis Suarez’s ‘Bitegate’ kicked up a storm at the World Cup 2014 last week, I *knew* I had to turn it into a single-panel something.

Back home, domestic news included a worrying trend of a rising number of dengue fever cases, with the state I’m in, Selangor, recording the highest number of reported cases since the beginning of 2014.

During breakfast this morning, these two diverse bites of news from the newspapers suddenly mashed together, drawn by a common theme – biting. The hubby jokingly said, have mosquitoes hold up banners of Suarez, ha ha!

I’ll bet he didn’t expect me to come up with exactly that, this evening at our dining table.
